pewter + ?

so I've got a 2000 pewter camaro and eventually im going to want to add some accent color (in form of stripes, grille, inserts etc) and I'm trying to figure out what color would go well. seems like everybody just does black with the pewter, and while it looks good i would like to go a little different. suggestions? pics?

i think that only black looks good. anything else just looks like your trying to hard to be different you can still do black, just do it in your own way

ohk that doesn't look like i thought it would lol...but i still kinda like it. orange would look so much better on more of a charcoal kinda color though.

black is def a safe bet. charcoal or gunmetal wouldn't be a bad choice either. its dark and different without looking like you are tryin to be unique.

I like the orange, even a bright red would be nice. I remember seeing a TA with a bird on the side that was red, it really stands out on the Pewter.

I think orange would look ****ing retarded. I would say go for black or a dark color. But don't get paint becaues of what we tell you. Do what you want. Who gives a **** if it looks stupid as long as you are happy with it and like it. Good luck!

how about nothing, i personally think black is the only color that looks good on pewter, and if you dont want black, then leave it alone.

When I was looking to put stripes on my car, all I saw was the black stripes on silver. Saw a couple that did the graphite, but that's about it. I went with the Metallic Burgandy 30th Anniversary stripes. I love it. It kinda looks like the 30th Anny, you know the white with orange stripes, but if you were looking at a negative from a picture, or if you let it get really dirty.

They have all differant colors in vinyl, check out the 'etch' that would look subtle on Pewter. Check out the color chart here... Vinz Decals just for an idea.
