I recently went and got my car inspected in Maryland for safety. Apparently I have to replace my exhaust because of rust and get my tint approved by the state by going to the MVA.
My question relates to the back factory tinting of my camaro. I don't really notice how dark the rear windows are of our cars, but today I noticed that the back window is quite dark. Is this the factory tint or is this an aftermarket film?
I don't think its aftermarket only because I was prying around for 10 mins looking for wear on the tint. The sides are tinted and you can clearly see the film, but I could be wrong about the back.
So I was also wondering how dark is the rear window stock? and if I should just remove my tint job on the sides and get it re-inspected or drive to the MVA and get it certified by the state. I just don't want to go to the MVA and wait 2 hours just to see if my tint is ok. Just wanted to hear some opinions and such. Thanks for the help.
EDIT: oh yea I bought this car about 4-5 months ago. So I don't know if tinting was done on the back or front after factory
