  • silverstars in the clearcorners?

I've heard about the silverstars for the corners that are clear bulbs and illuminate amber. First off, i was wondering where i could find them, the select few autopart stores i've been to didnt' seem to have them. and second off, i've seen some pretty ugly corners on acuras and hondas etc that seem to be clear but when they are on are only slightly amber, mostly white, i wasn't sure if those were silverstars or just some crap like the rest of the car

I was wondering if anyone had pictures of their clear corners with silverstars off, and a pic of them when they are on. I would like to see what they look like since i'm looking into doing this myself.

I don't have them, or any pics. But in my cousin's truck, when they're off, they look bluish, but shine amber when on. I'd do it if I were you

First off, I want to say, BlackMaro, I envy your car. when i do a front end conversion, that's the style i'm going for. VERY NICE.

But about the silverstars, those look good and i'm going to try to get some, but i still have had no luck. I went to Knetchs today and asked if they carried teh silverstars for the turn signals and he proceeded to ask why i would want blue turn signals. That was enough to know they didn't have them.

Am I going to have to get them on ebay? or do they carry them in some auto part stores..just not the ones i've been to..?

Thanks, Man. You wanna buy it? :D I may end up selling it... but that's another story.

I got mine at pepboy's. They are a little more expensive than the regular bulbs though.

Dave: your car looks badass man.

Yeah, i figured they would be a little more spendy. But it should be worth it.

blackmaro: your selling your car??? why!? I do want it, but there is no way i would ship it across the us from florida to oregon haha. I will just imitate your styling when i do a front end conversion.

dmw: do you still have the amber lights for the little bulbs on the sides of the clear corners?

Jeeze, $20 for two bulbs? What a rip off!

Well, i bought them anyway, and they are very cool. on my car, the blue of the bulb carries and amplifies through all the mirror in the clear corner, or moreso than i saw in the pic blackmaro provided. Not worth the $20, but still cool. I'll probably post up some pics later.
