How do you remove the triangle thingy?

This Thingy...thing?
I am going to repaint my drivers side quarterpanel and that part has to be removed in order for me to paint it correctly.

I painted my quarter panel without removing it, just taped it off.

But to remove it, I THINK you remove the inner plastic panel and weather stripping on the door and there should be two 10 mm studs/bolts to be removed.

It was actually glued or taped onto the roof cover. I left it alone and worked around it.
