    Re: decals decals decals.

i added "turbo 3.8" on each fender where z28 "SHOULD" have been if i didnt get ripped of 2 cylinders....anyways...it draws alot of attention along with the Intercooler infront :)

what made me add the decals was when i rapped a full bolt on 01 mustang GT down the highway 4 times in a row...giving him a head start the last time lol...we met in a gas station shortly after and he kept insiting i had a Z28 with "nitrous" so that made my final decision to make everyone know i have a v6

exactly, I want everyone to know what they are up against, even with a turbo 6, they cant figure on me having all the internals that i do.

plus to those saying keep it stealthy, the lope from the cam is a little give away, tho I could claim "ahhhh yea I have a bad O2, and the whine is just a vac. leak." LOL

the gauge at first shouldn't move when you first start your car the 02 sensors have to heat up, once thats done it should be bouncing back and forth until you go WOT which then it should go all the way to rich or all the way to lean (you don't want that one). Unless you have a seriously issue or have upgraded your car that would mess with your a/f the gauge is pretty useless if you did do something that would require you to watch your a/f a wideband gauge is more useful, IMO the thing is just a light show and annoying.

I hooked up kristen's to the pcm rather than splicing into the 02 wires directly, I belive you guys have 3 sensors, 2 near each header and one behind the cat. I have a pin layout for 98+ camaro which seems to be the same for her 2001 and I think it's one of these:

        Pin 10 - Purple - Bank 2 H02S 1 Signal
        Pin 11 - Dark Blue - Bank 1 H02S 3 Signal
        Pin 12 - Purple/White - Bank 1 H02S 1 Signal

I don't recall which ones are the header sensors and which one is the one behind the cat. Maybe make a post in the electronics they should be able to help you more.

ok thanks! yea when i wired mine through the PCM i dont get anything....IT just sits in rich and thats it...does that mean its not wired up correctly? If so should i run a wire from the CAT o2 sensor signal wire?

Well, wont they know what they are racing when they see the intercooler, and hear the blow-off valve? I mean I know rice can be easily confused, but putting turbo on there might blow there MIND!

For real? I like the idea of 3800 on the fenders, and a turbo marker on the back somewhere. But I think it will look good as long as you keep it subtle, and the same font everywhere.

If it stays rich all the time then yea I would say it's not wired right. I wouldn't tap into the 02 sensor wire directly just find the right wire on the pcm. which pin did you tap into on which connector?
