  • New guy here with pics of his car

I'm new here. But I hang out at CamaroZ28.com and LS1Tech.com mostly. Just some info and pics of my car.

    1997 Firebird Formula
    Black/Charcoal
LT1 A4: No t-tops, no power seats, no leather, no Monsoon. But it did come with factory chrome 16" 5-spokes, cruise, a/c, rear defrost, and a cd player.
I bought it last summer with only 29,995 miles on it for $9,000. An older lady and her husband bought a new car, so they had to sell. They did however have a Borla cat-back, Viper alarm, and Optima yellow top installed before they sold, score! Now on with the pictures!

    17" Polished WS6 wheels

    Polished stainless steel rear inserts.

    Firebird throttlebody plate.

Since I bought it, I have installed a Moroso cold air intake, air foil, LT4 knock sensor, 1LE intake elbow, SLP strut tower brace, BMR subframe connectors, Spohn rear control arms, Hotchkis rear panhard bar, factory WS6 springs, Bilstein HD Shocks, 17" WS6 wheels, 275/40/17 Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval tires, and a Pioneer MP3 cd-player. I'm currently in the market for a factory style Ram Air hood. And I am saving up for some headers, better rear gears, and a new cam.

One additional image. And when I get my new hood, the silver pinstripe is coming off.

Clean looking car, I don't think I've ever seen one with that low mileage.

About the T-tops, I had 1 T-top V6 one hardtop LS1 and now have a T-top LS1, I like the hardtop the best, It's more sleek looking, and there is MUCH less wind noise than a T-top car. also doesn't leak. One downfall is the clearcoat peels easy for some reason.

There's whole threads about the clearcoat problem on the LS1 boards http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=511850

I have a couple things planned for the car, but *looks at wallet and sees moths* yeah.

I'm just 75 miles from rolling over 32,000 miles
