  • Stripe people step in... please :)

Thinking about stripes for my 02'. I like the 35th anniversary stripes but I'm not sure if they'll look decent with the stock hood. Anyone have pics of your car with any stripes to give me an idea?? Thanks..

i think the 35th kits look awesome, they would look fine with your stock hood!

dont go with straight stripes like kristen or meaty shells, they dont look right.

You wont have to deal with the roof issue since its a vert, but I get nothing but good comments on my stripes.

IMO I would do paint if you can. I have vinyl and it looks good but I would much rather have gone with paint. Good thing about vinyl is that it's cheep and if you don't like the way it looks you can always take it off.

Here is a link to my cardomain pic's of stripes are on 3rd page

I know its not a 98 body style, but its all the same....i wanted stripes and looked and looked too but couldnt find anytihng that i liked, so I played with some blue stripe tape one day and did it how i wanted it. took me a long time, but im really happy with them
