Just like everyone else has stated... I love it.

Ever think about making the bird on the front bumper silver, or PONTIAC fill-ins?

Actually I've had them that way before. The bird and fill ins matched the silver metallic of the stripes. But I had the front end and bumper repainted from rock chips on the front, and someone backed into me in the back, and had to remove the decals. I liked how the all black looked on the front and back a lot better then with, since it left the only color to the stripes. It also looked good on the back since I removed the center piece graphic between the tail lights and had the blackouts :)

I forgot to ask last time, is your hood functional or not? I've been wrestling with this decision for a while. I just wanted to know what you went with and why? Oh yah, were you not happy with how the mods were improving the 3800 or was the swap the original plan?

The hood is not functional. The reason being non other then I like how the lid looks on it instead of the raised airbox with open filter. I have an undercarriage ram air kit on it from before I had the this hood so I just use it.

As for modding the 3.8L, I was happy with the mods and the power they were giving me, but just not compared to what I could pay for the same mods and the power I'd pick up with on the LS1. The original plan was no where near doing the swap. I just wanted the body style, and made it more car I could show. I just wanted it to be quicker then go along with the looks, and decided instead of going turbo for it, I'd do the LS1 and have more room to mod it later on too.

                        SIGNMAN: Thank you very much.

I'm a little ways away from you in a small town called Gardner. It's about 15 minutes south of Overland Park and Lenexa.

Sweet. You should go run at the drag strip or we can just go out on some good country roads. How about me full throttle with a 1/2 mile head start and you go half throttle? maybe 1/4 throttle. hahah
