How bad is gasoline on paint?
If I had some scratches should I not cover them up
with spray paint? Will it just make it that much harder for
the real painter to get the spray paint off?

If you pour a bit of gasoline on a painted surface, it shouldn't be too harmful. As long as you aren't rubbing it into the paint or pour a heavy amount that "pools" on the surface... Why? What d'jya do????
How heavy are the scratches? You may be able to just touch them up, re-sand, then buff out. Any pics?
ive used gas on my paint to get paint off b4..... they painted the curbs next to my car and got overspray on them... i coudlnt get it off for the life of me till i looked it up on this board, found out gas works and doesnt harm the paint.......
