A paste will get rid of swirls & blimishes plus get the shine.
Paste has a little grit to go deeper into the paint, thats what I was told anyways.
well not the spray. the regular wax stuff vs. paste. is one harder to apply/remove? better results or same? based on your reply, i would think the past is better.

For the same brand and style of wax, liquid and paste produce comparable results (protection and shine) and offer the same longevity between waxings. Paste waxes sometimes cost more up front but can be a better value—a tin of paste usually yields more waxings than a bottle of liquid.
Liquid is easier to apply.
Waxes dont cut (have grit), that is left to the polishes.
