Hi Guy's and Girls - I though I say hi since I just bought a 97' V6 Camaro. I had an IROC Z28 as my first car ever and I just could not resist on this one as my new daliy driver. I am in the process of finishing the car up but here is what I have so far. Shorty antenna, SS decals for Super Slow ... :) ... , blacked out brake light, 30 around the hood decal, strut tower brace. I have coming black outs for the front and back, checkered flag door side grafics and inserts for AC and light switch, red inserts for tach and speedo only, original 30th flooer mats and a black grille tech front grill.

For the future I am planing on the magnaflow dual exhaust and a ZEX dry kit (75hp shot), got already the air filter in place for it which eliminates drilling holes but connects the nitrous line direct into the airfilter.

    Any suggestions are welcome.

wow ... what an outburst because of 2 letters ... =) ... it is meant sarcastik, if you guys look on what chevy is lately slapping the SS you know what I mean (can you say malibu or maxx) ... but anyway, I will see how it looks once the car is finished in a couple of weeks, there are just vinyl anyway.

Malibu and MAXX are the same trim car no SS there, all Chevy's SS fleet has respectable V8! engines. Dont try to make it something its not. I hate to sound like a jerk but its just an upsetting "ricer" feature, like a NOS sticker. If I saw that on the streets, SS badge and single exhaust exit, you wouldnt see the end of it.

Also the dice? GOOOTA GO, as well as 30 sign in front, just not a fan, sorry if I sound harsh, but I am very opinionated about that kinda stuff.

ALSO not to mention that the next Gen camaro will probably have that "joke of a motor" that the current malibu has.

i like the car and the 30th decal in front but..... the ss decal:tdown:
you may not care what other f-body owners think about it and that's cool, but i would be embarrased to pull up to a real ss with those on, other than that your car has a lot of potential. sorry about the spelling and welcome:)

here is a pic of my white 97---i'm getting ready for spoiler bashing!!

Hey man its your car do want you want with it. A lot of people told me I am retarted for having both the SS and RS embelsm on my ride. Then I tell them about me trying to recreate the 67 SS/RS and show them the LS6 under the hood and they don't seem to say anything else about it. Just make your ride quick.

By the way I am also ripping off my emblems and just leaving the my new chrome RS emblems.

but z06 they rag on u for havin the SS badges on there b4 u told them u had a LS6 under the hood...it might no b a true SS but u def got the power to back those badges up...say if u pulled up next to a ricer and he races u and beats u...hes gonna b on cloud 9 cuz he just thinks he beat a SS and there it starts the word around that SS's r slow and a 4 cylinder can beat them...

Hate to play the Devil's Advocate here, but not all of the current SS's have V8's. The Cobalt SS has a 4 banger (turbo and NA), and Malibu/MalibuMaxx do have V6, (240 HP, 3.9 Liter, VVT), SS editions.

Now the Monte Carlo, Impala, Silverado, and Trailblazer do have V8's.

As for the SS badges, I get the point you are trying to make with them.......but anyone who knows F-Bods will know that is not an SS, and prob wont take it as a joke, they will prob think you are a ricer. :D But do what you want.

BURN! guess I need to do more homework for next time, either way my opinion stands, might as well put some 350 CI decals on and 5.7L as well.
