  • New Pictures!

Just did some new things so I thought I'd post some pictures.
    New Mods:
    -Black halos
-Painted the front grille black with new reflective white inserts
-Painted the calipers black and put reflective white CAMARO inserts on the front ones
-New blackout covers since my last pair was stolen on the last day of school this past June

Opinions are welcome...including what else I should do. My only mods that are not appearance is the Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust system and a carbon fiber Whisper Lid with a K&N air filter (btw how often should I clean and re-oil the K&N??)

The only thing I can think of right now left to do to the appearance is tinting the side windows, but as of now my parents won't let me because it's illegal in Michigan...

Looks good man. It looks awesome as is, but it would look incredible with some bigger rims

            Re: New Pictures!

yeah that was one of my worries too kristen, but the guy that did it for me said that if it does chip, he would redo it for me.

I would love to get some C6 chrome rims, they're my favorite by far on Camaros...the only problem is with tires I'm looking at around $1000 that I don't have...All my money I make from my job at Red Lobster goes to gas and insurance.

But thanks for the feedback guys..and girls.

              Re: New Pictures!

Looks good, very clean. I was going to paint my grill to but I wasnt sure how it would look. Everything looks great but what happened to your front gfx, and I agree that some C6's would look great on there but im sort of partial to them :naughty:

you can tint your side windows in MI, just don't go darker than the percentage allowed.

                    Re: New Pictures!

Never had that front gfx...at least not when I bought it a year ago. I have no idea what happend if it ever did have them...but I do remember when I was under the car I saw drill holes in the bottom like a gfx kit was there. I always wondered what that was, but now I get it.

Any tint is illegal on the drivers and passenger sides in Michigan. You can only have tint 4 inches down from the top of the window. I've checked it online and asked officers around here. The city I live in is really strict about it too, low crime rate here so they pick on the little things.

yeah, how much do you think a front gfx would cost plus having it painted?

I painted mine with some plastic enamel rattle can paint from Lowes.
It says it "will not peel or chip" on the can. I've had mine on for about 2
months and I don't see any chips.

how exactly did you go about smoothing out the grill. did you use some sort of filler, or just sand it out?
