Hmm, if it were up to me on a 35th anniversary Camaro I'd just paint the stripes to match and leave the SS emblems as they are.

Well... here's the deal. I have a front plate and it was crooked. Went to take it off yesterday but the fools used pop rivets in the bracket that went through the grill AND the front end underneath. To say the least, I was a little pissed off that the car was damaged from someone putting the front plate on like that. So basically my man drilled out the rivets for me, got the bracket off and we ripped off the grill. Now I have it bare with just the body color showing... (which I like a lot, btw). Only problem is: there are holes in that too. and the slotted holes look ****ty anyway. So... I'm thinking of getting a new stock grill or an aftermarket piece.
BTW, the car is a 3.8L Pewter Convertible 35th Anniversary Camaro. Not an SS. ;)

DMW, did you take the grill off the right way? apparently, if you use the "pull really fu(king hard" method, it wont be re-usable. if this isnt true, i have one with white inserts that someone can have for just the cost of shipping.
