thanks for the replys guys, im gonna go with the 17s all around. so if i get 275/40-17 tires all around, would there be a big gap between the wheel well and the top of the tire?

+1 ... I agree. I've got the 17 inch C5's and they are perfect for a camaro. Sure, on my mustang I am changing my 17's for 18's, but for the camaro, 17 is the right size.

Like getting the same shade tint all around, I believe uniformity always looks best. I would just get 17 or 18, one or the other all around. Why have a bigger size door on the passenger side than the driver. It just complicates things especially where wheel/tires sizes and costs are concerned.

Or better yet scrap the plain chrome C6s that everyone has now and find some C6 Z06s! That would be hot and something different from everyone else.
Why don't you just put a set of bulldozer wheels on it.

I'd get 18s personally all the way around if its a DD and get the combo if not.

I have 18" all around right now.

But I plan on upgrading to a staggered 18x8.5" front, 19x9.5" rear setup soon and lowering. But I guess it depends on your styling; I've always stuck close to the european styling which is a filled wheel well, thin and tight tires. Where as the american styling is a smaller rim and bulging tires.

No, not necessarily. My 96 has 4-wheel discs..stock. It may have been the Y87 package that did it.

From those pictures there is no way to tell if it has teh Y87 package, so there is no way to tell if it has discs or drums.

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
