yes, chrome strips are not blingy. chrome plated plastic wheel covers are also not blingy (even the spinner wheel covers).
i can't visualize where one could go with chrome strips on a camaro. however, i did see a guy driving a camaro with chrome strips, chrome mudflaps and gold daytons. maybe i'm just a tacky bastard with no imagination. hell, i've done nothing to my camaro's appearance, so maybe i should just stop myself here and start trolling this side of the board again.
I think that if you did some sort of red vinyl stripe down the sides it would look sweet, but then again i would do a red double stripe down the hood, black with red stripes looks mean. Just my 02 cents. keep the stock tails and side markers. some red camaro fillers up front and back, and you got one mean maro.
i bought the car with a bit of a red theme going and i picked silver over it. I have a billet grill and clear corners, and silver camaro inserts in the back. So my theme is silver. I'm gonna get chrome wheels, and either black or clear sidemarkers still just don't know yet.
