my car looks pretty stock from the side, and without getting new wheels or tint, i'd like a cheap way to get away from that.

i was thinking about getting a chrome strip to go along where the side molding goes, which i no longer have. tell me what you guys think of hte idea. I was thinking maybe 1/2 inch or so along the whole side.

yeah i was hoping it wouldn't look stupid, but i guess you're right it probably would.. maybe like a silver pin stripe along the indent?

No, No, No......leave as is. Except get clear side markers behind the rear tires. Then save for rims & tint. no cheesy chrome strips or pinstripes. My .02

            Yeah. okay.

I was thinking about getting nightshades and blacking out those side markers and part of my taillights too, but now i'm debating the taillights, and thinking black side markers might look wierd on a black car. How much are the clear sidemarkers?

i think maybe a silver pin stripe would look nice higher not on the moulding.. but along the top, and maybe some 3800 decals in front of the doors.

definatley a no on the chrome strips.

unless youre talking about the rear side markers, it seems he allready has them.

as far as super cheap mods go, id say you could:
-paint the rims black, and leave the lip as is.
-clear or tint the rear side markers.
                      -tint the taillights.
                      -smoothlocks.

smoothlocks; I know what they are, but do they take away the functionality of the doorlocks? I mean, i have keyless entry so that's no big, just wondering, and where can i get those?

i think the clears will look super tacky and stand out way too much.

id black em or leave em personally.

im also a fan of amber corners.:stp:

personally, i hated my amber corners. when i put the clear corners on, i fell in love with my car all over again. I think it looks 100 times better. As for the rear clear, i am thinking it might stand out a lot too. I was thinking maybe if i could find some slightly tinted ones, or slightly tint the clear with nightshades...or else just black out the red ones. depends how cheap i can get clear sidemarkers i guess.
