Camaro Ricer Pissing me off

I see a few Camaro owners that live in my general area i never met them but i want to punch them in the face. They have that stupid double spoiler thing or the really tall spoiler THEY LOOK STUPID TAKE THEM OFF. I like the stock v6/z28 spoiler or the ss im not a big fan of the body kit to extend the spoiler like the one on the rs and some z28s but its alright

well, its not called a bodykit...its called a lip, I guess you would say, or spoiler extension...and thats what I voted for.

What is the point of this...maybe some kids want to punch u in the face for drivin a camaro without the wing...who cares what they have on their car...is the car urs? no just ignore it and make ur car the way u want it

i think this thread could have been done a lot more intelligently.

i like the stock, ss, and rs spoilers. as well as a variety of the other lips available.

sometimes i like that shoping cart wing (the smaller one) but only from certain angles. it just looks like somethings missing when looking at it from the back.

im kinda curious if anyone has pics of slp's ultra z spoiler or rk sport's roadster one.

This is all just a matter of taste; I personally like the stock Trans am spoiler with an after market body kit better than the Camaro choices. I, personally, am not fond of the euro look when it comes to cars but that is just one peron's opinion. Make your car the way you want to make it and let them make thier cars up the way they want them. To me, what really matters is who crosses the finish line first. LOL

never lost it's meaning. if it's tacky or tasteless, or it is an attempt by the owner to pass the car off as something it's not, it's rice. I should work for a dictionary publisher....

i'll agree, that is rice.

ricers don't have the same idea of what looks good (read: tasteful and fitting the car's lines correctly). They slap on anything they can to look different, regardless of whether or not the bodykit/spoiler/etc. flows with the car's original bodywork. It's all about looking different and standing out. Problem is, they stand out in the same way the guys from "***** Eye for the Straight Guy" would in a country bar in the Deep South.

it depends on what you're throwing the rice tag at. For instance, not everyone likes the 3-pc spoiler that came with the RS package/Sport Appearance package kit. But no one considers it rice. It's only rice if it conforms to the definition i mentioned before.

i'm still not getting why this thread was created though. It just seems to be "i don't like rice. i'm gonna make a poll."
