exhaust tips, need opinions

Hey I just got some exhaust tips off a 95ish Z28. I was thinking it would be cool to sand them down and paint them with gloss black engine paint. It would match, my cars red with a black top. The tips are chrome and I do love chrome but they would be the only things chrome other than my intake. What should I do, clean em up and keep them chrome, or paint them glossy black?

well what color is you car. what color scheme are you going for.

what kind of exhaust do you have BTW.

The car's red with a black top. I want to tint the windows but its illegal here. Exhaust system is stock now, but will soon be a gutted cat, and a WS6 muffler, coming out to these dual tips. I think I'm gonna go black now, it's a lot more work, but it's original. I think I'm gonna stick with a red/black look.

you could have just bought black z28 style tips.
