I need a big change...ideas?

This kid at work got an 06 Civic EX (not an SI or maybe worth the 19k he dropped on it) the other day with a body kit and everyone is all over it like its the best thing ever. My poor Camaro isnt getting the recognition it deserves, so I want somthing more.....flashy? Something that will grab people's attention real quick.

First, i'll start with some pics of my car. This first pic is old and i've gotten clear corners since it was taken which you will see.





Ok, so, I was going to go with hockey stripes but I managed to talk myself out of it.

Now I am thinking I really want a body kit. I know some of you are anti-body kit, but its ok for you to chime in too. I cant decided which air dam to get...WW or Xenon

Or maybe a body kit combined with some hockey stripes would go really well.

I'm happy with my car and all its just the front end is all done up and I have TT2's and thhat's all. Just need more. I'm sure some of you understand.

hmmm... well you could always give me your wheels. Then i'd go beat up the guy with the civic for you :)

I think your car looks the shiz, i'd leave it alone. Don't bother with the kits... they both look pretty gay...... buuut if you had to get one get the ww kit.

Oh yea, and do you work at a rice shop or something? ... i just don't get why anyone, let alone a horde of people would be "all over" a civic....

xenon is the only one that would come near my car.
i like my stock set though.

dont do hockey stripes.

my vote: xenon + sick exhaust setup.
if your car is loud and sounds badass, it will get much more attention.

Your car is really really cean the way it is. please do not put a kit on it, i hate camaros with body kits. You could put some racing stripes on it like silver or white ones that would look good. I dont really like hockey stripes either.

not a big fan of hockey stripes, just don't think they look like they are meant to on this gen.'s car...body kit's are cool if thats the route you wanna go...but with your wheels, i'd go more true muscle car on 'em...i personnaly have always been attracted to the way a camaro sounds with a flowmaster, but if you wanna go with stripes, i'd go with SS stripes, and an SS hood (www.fbodymotorsports.com) <stripes and decals>...it just all depends on how YOU want your camaro to look...hope it works out, post some pics whatever you do!

Actually a fast food restaurant. All of my fellow employees think this car is sent from heaven. I hear mention of it at least every 20 minutes and frankly i'm tired of it.


This kid is the definition of ricer...the dealer told him his stock EX civic would do 0-60 in 4 seconds flat, and thats not even the funny part. The funny part if he whole-heartedly believes it. I would love to race this guy I know I would beat him those things are mid 16's on a good day...

It also gets on my nerves how he bounces it off the rev limiter every time he leaves the parking lot like an idiot...

who cares what other people think of your car? why do you? im sure if you did you wouldnt have a v6 camaro, no offense, i have one also. jus curious....by the way, your car looks perfect the way it is IMO

First...

New Exhaust system...get it in 3" and get headers. It will be loud and sound WAY better than his Civic could ever sound.

Appearance: There are several things you could do that youre not thinking of. First of all, what does your rear look like? You could get taillight blackouts and black out the 3rd brake light and side markers if you haven't already. You could look into some nice "CAMARO" inserts...I'd go with silver or polished.

And finally, if you want stripes, don't do hockey stripes. Go with dual hood stripes...maybe extend them to the rear of the car.


Don't get a body kit.

Geez, the car is REALLY NICE! I like it the way it is, but if you want an appearance mod, go with stripes. That'll make the biggest impact. :tup:

anyways, I think the xenon looks good on the 98+, and since your car is black any color stripes would look good.
just remember ,its your car so do what looks good to you

honestly your car is real nice. looks clean and sharp without too much. i wouldnt ever put a body kit on my car instead i would lower it. but i cant due eitehr due to the steepness of my driveway and so many speedbumps and ****. but if i had to put one on it would be wings west. keep your car the way it is though i like it a lot. if anything put on some chrome 3800 decals or something. :) nice TT2's by the way

SS hood with silver manta stripe.

Go with stainless steel CAMARO lettering in the back, some chrome exhaust to match.

i'd say go with the rear inserts, exhaust + other performance mods (cam, headers etc for sound) then if you really need appearance, go for a hood and RS/Z28 spoiler to add some more class
