I've seen it here before... i can't find any pictures now of course. But i know at least one person on here had a bowtie in their billet grille... maybe Dwhatshisface... the guy with the supercharger. Anway, where'd you get it, and do they make gold ones?

Here's a pic of mine. Anyways you can get them on ebay (cheaper ones, I got mine for $8), yearone ($60), and any other classic car parts catalog (about 60-80). They are off of the 69 camaro or chevelle. You can also get one from a newer style Blazer which are the gold ones for about $20.

And how do they fasten to the grille?

Re: Bowtie in the Billet grille?

The emblem comes with two studs on the back, and it has a bracket to hold it onto the grille. Except the studs are too long and hit the back of the bumper so I cut them off. Then I cut a piece of metal and formed it to the shape of the grille and JB welded the emblem to the plate, and then the emblem to the grille. Hope this makes sense.

If you can't find a BJ im sorry. Oh its JB....JB weld you can get it at your local hardware store. It comes in 2 tubes one with the epoxy and one with the "metal" you mix the two and "weld" the metal peices and let it sit. Surprisingly holds damn good.
