  • Dimensions, Rear Seat Delete

Hey i was wondering if anyone can get me the dimensions of the rear seat delete. I was wanting to build some myself in my constrution class. The speedspecialty ones. I mainly need the front part of it. How far does it go down and how far it goes across. More dimensions will be greatly appericated.

why not just measure it yourself? you can make it as high or as low as you want it.

easy way to do it would be to measure from where the bottom of the seat meets the floor to the highest point of the seat cushion, and the width of the seat cushion.

Yeah i realize that. But i just wanted to make sure, i really like the way they look and want to do something very close to that. I am sure it wouldnt take more then 3 mins to just measure it for me. just seeing if anyone could. This is for a class so i have to have all the right plans and dimensions. gay i know but oh well it gets me the grade

Yeah, i think i am figuring it out so i dont need any dimenstions. Hopefully they will look good. I think i might just make a couple sets just to have something to do in my class. if they turn out real nice i could pry just sell some of them. well just pay shippin cuz supplys doesnt cost me anything. when i am done i will post some pictures.

Yea, its a little bit tighter in the back due to space taken up by the folding top.

i love how i did mine. i did it knowing alot of extra stuff that i could do to it. like extra storage since i did my t top conver. a place to put my nitrous bottle, my amp and a alsome place to put my sub! but i dreamed it up myself.

i say may it the way you want that way it's your own!

So how did you make yours then (tutorial please)? I was thinking about ditching the rear seats and getting a roll bar. So i'd like some advice on this as well.

i have no need for a roll bar just extra weight in my mind. and how i made mine......i took cardboard boxes and made what i wanted. cut it. fit it, carpeted it and put it in. only took a few hours.

I know i just eyeballed the angles! Worked pretty good when you got a whole shop at your hands. I have oneside all done just need to carpet it.

I was thinkin of putting a harness in my car (haha its not that i need but i like them better then seatbelts) and straping the ends to the stock seatbelt bolts in the back, i think it should work. Anyone ever try this?

... I meant i'd get a roll bar... so i don't die if my car flips over for some reason...

Just cardboard boxes? How'd you attach it to the interior?
