I just went out and bought some new foglights that i'm going to put in the area where my OEM fogs are located. They are 55W clear/smooth lensed ones. I wanted to make sure that it would be okay to use my stock wiring for these. The guy at G.I. Joes said it'd be fine, and i figured it would, since i can put 50W bulbs in the stock fogs without problem, but i just wanted to make sure.
Sparknotes: Can i use aftermarket 55W fogs with the stock wiring?
y the change? i got the same bulbs in my fogs has u did and they arnt to bad
Both my stock housings were cracked, so they both leaked at least a little, and with the headlight covers that i had, at night in the rain, the lights were almost useless, so i decided to try to get more light from my car, starting with new fogs. these do a much better job of lighting up the road in front of me and on the sides especially is an improvement over stock.
Wish they weren't yellow though...the package said blue..oh well.
I need some new fog lights, both of my stock ones are cracked. What are those and were did you get them. thanks
got them at G.I. Joes, $20, they are called PILOT PL-1074B. They are the biggest ones i saw that would fit in the stock spots, and i didn't want to look around too much. I'm still happy with them, even thought they are yellow.
front probly was repainted and when they did it they either forgot of just didnt put it back on....mine didnt have 1 so i went and got it...it was like 10 bucks it think

I know this is an old post, but I'm probably going to go with a similar set up to you TheGr8Schlotzky. I want to replace my stocker foglights with aftermarket because they lenses are cracked.
I have 2 questions for you (thanks in advance):
1) Do the foglights shine well through your grill?
2) What grill is that and can I find it on ebay? (please link it up if so)
type in camaro grill and u should get somethin...yes they will shine threw the grill fine...i had my grill on for a day b4 i took it off cuz i didnt like it but the fogs shined threw just fine

cheapest billet grill i found when i was looking. it's the one i have.
they shine just perfect through the grill, don't cut down the light at all because they are just small horizontal lines, so it doesn't affect visibility.
