How much have any of you guys payed for a paint job? i want to get my painted but i dont wanna spend a fortune .. Ill probably repaint it black because black looks sick and the black now has like bird crap or something that sat there and sank into the paint theres been a lot of paint defects on the car from the previous owner so yea i want a paint job how much am i looking to spend? if its a lot ill prob wet sand it myself

I think I paid around 2k to get my car repainted. Thats just the exterior, my door jambs, hatch and engine bay are the old color.1997 Camaro v6 3.8 <br />Bone Stock, just a little slower then most station wagons.<br />**Either the slowest SS or the prettiest v6**Comment

Not similar at all. Original color was dark metallic green, new color is sebring silver. I'm going to give a shot at painting the door jambs and trunk jamb myself and maybe the engine bay too down the road. But not silver. Hey man i paid about 1200 just in paint and materials to paint my car. All ppg products, Since i painted the car myself though i saved some money there. Remember you get what you pay for, and why pay 1000 for a crappy paint job, that your just gonna have to have redone a couple years down the road. Just doesn't make sense to me.Comment
