ok i lied.. USED rims...
they're from a 2002 ws6: speedline 17 inch rims wrapped in 275/40/17 falken ziex Y rated tires. i got em from a guy on LS1TECH.COM who needed cash to get his 10second firebird back up and running. he showed me the car - i almost soiled myself. his car is setup to look stock, but the doors, dash, interior are actually gutted. he still had the power door/windows buttons but they do not work and the windows are permanently raised. as it is now, he needs an intake manifold and valve covers. after seeing this car and knowing that proceeds were going to building it up, i felt like throwing in a tip - if i could have afforded it.
so here are the rims. i need new center caps all around (spraypainted them to get rid of the pontiac emblem).
this one below is actually missing a center cap. it doesnt look too bad, but i don't like the idea of water collecting there..
i also need new lug covers, set of wheel locks and of course springs/shocks to balance it out.
and here we can see the old 16 inch rims with 235/55/16 tires

... IMHO, convertible f-bodies are one of the most appealing and head turning car in the whole car line up ............ :)
