  • t-Top conversion? look factory?

I was looking at the t-top conversions, when its all said and done, does it look factory? completely?

I want to be able to sell the car and not have to worry about someone wondeirng if I did the conversion right.

Also, what parts are needed? I know you need weatherstripping, the brackets for the ttops, and the t-tops themselves, but what else.

Someone on the board jsut did this conversion. Don't remember the name but do a quick search and you should come up with it.

as long as it looks good and doesn't leak... i see no reason why someone wouldn't want to buy the car if they knew you did that.

              Re: t-Top conversion? look factory?

LOL, I never finished finished the back part. And i have had my car appraised for trade ins, and they never said thing. Got nit picky about other stuff but assumed it was a factory t-top car.

but a private buyer really looking at it could figure it out, at least on my car. I go to f-body meets and 95% of the people don't realize I even did a conversion.

I say do it, our cars aren't worth that much money anyways.

There's a couple pics of mine. I don't have any real closeups but it looks perfect. I have gotten a huge amount of compliments in person about how factory it looked.
