  • Anybody have any experience with these seat covers?

    http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/in...ROD&ProdID=675

I'd like to recover my seats in leather, but the cost is awfully high. $400, on the other hand, I might be able to swing. Is this stuff any good? Also, I have a 97, but I prefer the 93-96 style seat covers. Would they go on without a hitch, or is the actual seat different, not just the cover? Anybody have any experience?

    Thanks a lot,
    Frank

Well, I'm pretty sure that they are covers that actually replace the current covers, not just fit over them.

on ebay they have seat covers for camaros that completly replace the old stuff and look stock but you can get diff color inlays like the 35th anniversary did with the grey inlay. I was thinking of getting the red inlays but idk might be a little too much

You can buy these they are only 100 but they should fit and you wont have to replace anything all you'll have to do is find the backs unless ur rears arent that bad or try the other ones that i listed below

i just went on ebay they are a little bit more exspensive but its better looking then the cheap stuff
These look like the 35th anniversary ones

          these have red inlays

Re: Anybody have any experience with these seat covers?

Thanks for the replies! It's not that my sets are in really horrible shape, I just prefer leather over cloth. If I could find some leather covers for $400, I'd jump on them, but they just don't seem to be out there. I guess what I'm asking is, do these Hawks covers feel anything like real leather? They look like they fit pretty well in the pictures, has anyone seen them in person? For example, see this pic: http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/in...OD&ProdID=1649. That isn't the color I want, but they appear to fit pretty well...
