  • Powdercoated wheels

I'm pretty sure that I'm going to be powder coating my wheels pretty soon. This is the car.

You can't really tell from that picture, but the clearcoat is all but gone, and the paint is all scratched up on the wheels. I'm thinking of going with just regular chrome, but if anyone has some other more subtle color suggestions that would be cool. I don't want to go with black or black chrome either.

    Re: Powdercoated wheels

Just so you know chrome is not powdercoating, it is plating(I believe nickel?). If they are already chrome(or are they polished ones? can't tell from picture) then I would just strip the clearcoat and re-clearcoat them. Because more enlikely it would be cheaper to buy chrome stockers. Now if your going black......or some color then keep them. Hope this helps.

There is chrome powdercoat like I said. And its too hard to find any stock chrome wheels around here. The callipers are red also, you can't see that in the pictures.
