      In a word...no

                      yeah they were called the appearance package, same thing as the rs package from earlier years, hence why some people put rs badges.

                        Shouldn't involve too much modification considering they were put right on our cars from the factory. I think the RS came with a slightly different spoiler too. Did the appearance package include that too, just curious.

                        Another strange tidbit, my '97 Camaro's VIN comes up as an RS but the car didn't come with an appearance package on the window sticker. It did include the Y87 though, so maybe thats why?
