Well during the summer I am going to be doing alot of stuff to the car, usually then engine comes first but I cant have these hubbys for the rest of my life. I was wondering what you guys think about black 17" ZR1's with crhome lip on a Rally Red 1998 Camaro?
any pics of you ride to get an idea from? i think black wheels look awesome on red camaros and firebirds. absolutely love the look. don't let people talk you out of it. if you like it and think it look good then go for it! its your car. imo, black rims with a polished lip give the best of both worlds...enough glossy black to match the black accents (like black corners, tinted side markers, taillight blackouts stripes, roof if its black) and enough of a polished lip to balance out tips, headlights, billet grille, etc...but it really depends on where you plan on taking the rest of the car. good luck with the decision.

Yea I dunno I think they look good too with red cams and birds but it seems like alot of people hate black rims  but yea I just want to get some rims ready for the spring and get some black outs and try to stick with a red and black theme.
I was wondering if the made a black billet grille for the camaros I havent seen any of them around on any of the camaro sites, just steel, chrome blah. Might as well go with the SLP black bowtie grill.
some people get the cheaper aluminum grilles and tint or paint them black. but yeah if you are going for a red and black theme...the black rims with a polished lip would look good imo. yeah some people don't like them...some people do...but its not their car. just one of those personal opinions kinda things...and everyone will have a different one.

In my experience of being on this site, I'm think most of the people on this site like black rims on certain cars. Just because the two people to first respond don't like them doesn't mean anything. Like Heartbeat_of_94 said, it's your car, do what you like. I personally love the look of black rims with polished lip on several colors of cars, including red. IMO, GO FOR IT!

Hello, so I changed the front bearings on the bird and the ABS inoperative light came on. I made a mistake of not removing negative battery cable. Now...
I usually have to double, triple my headlight switch for them to come up on my 97 Firebird. I cleaned all connections. Could it be the headlight switch...
