didnt feel like reading everything but the key to spraypainting is LIGHT COATS! dont coat it on, just spray a thin coat, let it dry for 15 -20 min, spray another thin coat, etc..... my lights came out perfect... dont hate on the niteshad cuz u dont know how to spraypaint.....
get out some lower grit paper and sand it all off (100ish maybe). then work the paper up in incriments to about 800.
make LIGHT coats, and let it dry inbetween. it took me several tries with the 3rd brake light to get it right as well.
When you clear coat it, only certain clears work. I tried regular duplicolor clear and it messed it all up for me. I ended up using some sort of hight temp clear.
i used the duplicolor clearcoat that comes in this really small can from autozone... its a silver can and has a blue lid i think..... worked wonders....
yep, thats the same clear that messed up my niteshades... but i only tried it on the 3rd brake light.... maybe i put the clear on too thick? i dunno, but i doubt it. theres something funky about the 3rd brake light though, thats for sure.
i know what you mean Loochy...i had to redo my third brake light three times cause of the clear coat...but i finally got it figured out...i used the duplicolor as well...just took really thin coats...REALLY thin coats, but it turned out great.
