Not sure what year your working with. On mine I ripped the stock grill off held the new one up to the spot, make sure it is center, then just mark the holes and drill them out. Use a bit smaller than the screws obviously. Then just screw it in and your done.

be nice to know what kinda car we are talking about...after looking at lm's site...i'm assuming its a 98+ Camaro?
but as far what you've posted goes...
1) its directions for painting the stock grille black (if it isn't already) so the attention is on the billet grille, not on the area behind it that you are covering up.
2) i just lined up the holes on my grille, marked them on my bumper, then drilled holes into my bumper...but i've heard of people using zip-ties as well...whatever works for you.
but once again...be nice to know what year/model f-body

ok so that all makes sense besides painting the body behind it...it prob wont be a problem bc its navy blue
shouldn't be...and if it appears to be a problem you can always remove the grilled later and paint it then...no biggie

My instructions called for drilling too, but the screws went in with no problem without a drill, so the whole install took about 3 minutes, most of which was getting it straight...
haha yea no prob...i just went to see her at the shop...wow it looks awesome...bc htey got so much outta her insruance company they also repainted my nose and put my chrome halos and corners in too...and well also bc i had a connection there but ill get pics up and soon as i bring her home tomorrow afternoon
