opinion on halos

So I'm thinking about buying a set of halo lights. I can't decide whether chrome or smoked would look better the color of my car, which is sunset orange metallic. Opinions would be super :rock:

I was leaning toward smoked halos. And I've never seen a SOM with black stripes... or any color stripes for that matter. Oh, and there will be ZR1's in the near future, along with an exhaust. Trying to decide between borla and flowmaster. I've read all the posts on this site about the differences between the 2... Seems like it's just a personal preference along with the 500-600 dollar difference. Either way it's tax return time. Time to mod :naughty:

I'm not planning on putting any chrome anywhere, save for the rims and exhaust tips. I'm goin with the SLP bowtie grille so I think the smoked halo's would match up with it. I just like the look of the smoked halos but I don't want to get them and have people tell me it looks like crap with the color of my car.

I might just go with clears. One question... Are there any extra wires on the halo lights or is just a simple swap?

That's a pretty sw33t lookin car. It looks closer to hugger orange than SOM. Rims look really good on it.

I recently installed black halos and they are KILLER. OMG are they SWEET. (This is on a Pewter 02' Vert.) The front end looks much "more aggressive" and I notice more people checking it out. ;) Black is the way to go, imo. You should check out Big Tymer's car. His is orange with black halos. Get the black ones and don't look back. :tup:

I have had two pairs of black halos and would never get anything else. They look the best in my opinion the chrome ones are to flashy.
