Hey everyone, i'm new here, this is my 3rd Camaro. 1st was 88 V6, then i had a 86 IROC, blew the engine:( , so i bought a 00 V6, decided to save some gas money while i'm in college. Question is i'm trying to clean the headlight covers, they are really dirty. whats the easiest way to do this? remove the entire assembly or just the cover? i can reach the clips on the bottom, but not sure if i can get them back on later. Also what are those little black valves on the headlights housing? are they for ventilation only? Thanks

Re: Headlight Cover
ventilation, yes. if you are talking about them being hazy and yellow. there really isn't a permanent fix for it yet that I have heard someone come up with. you can wet sand them and alot of us have used polishes, waxes, etc. I think the only thing that will really fix it is to wet sand then clear coat. I haven't tried that yet but will sometime.
