i probably should have asked this last week, but does anyone have their front bowtie and nose emblem painted to match their car color? pics if so please.
I'm getting my front end repainted and asked the guy to paint them black to match my car...hopefully it turns out
So you are going to have the bowtie painted black? It might get overlooked since it doesnt stand out. I would paint it whatever other color you use with the car. Just my .02 it might help.
The one I have on my 97 now is painted mine silver cuz I and going with a green and chrome/silver theme. Although I am getting my billit grille this week and I am gonig to custom paint a 69 camaro emblem green to match the car and put it on the grille.
that is an old pic...i have blacked out turn signals, side markers, taillights and 3rd brake light. I think the bowtie will look good, its the nose emblem i'm having second guessing about...

I'd just take the bowtie off. You won't see it anyway if it's black. As for the nose emblem, I dunno, I'd have the shop take it off, fill it in smooth, then paint it.
i asked the guy whose painting it...he said he could do that but I didn't want to pay any extra $$$. Shaving would look badass but hopefully the black badge looks nice too
