In Florida, legal tint is 15 or 20% ( I think 20%), and you can have it on your two door car. I got pulled over today, and my Florida tag saved me. She said that in California, I'm not supposed to have ANY tint on my car, past the pillar between the rear and front and that applies to all cars.
So no tint is legal on my 2 door car, or on the front 2 of my four door car? What the heck?:rant:
A lot of states you can't have anything on the front two or at least not much. In FL it's great because there aren't too many vehicle laws that apply. I've seen cars with their winshields tinted 2/3 of the way down. As long as your aren't making a scence or trying to start anything the cops pretty much leave you alone.

Yeah I know when I used to have my Honda tinted 5% on all the windows, except the windshield, that first night out was a doozy. I almost got T-boned about 3 times cause I couldn't see em coming. I like tint but I think the windsheild is a bit much.

welcome to my world ......... i am on a warning that means if i get pulled over again, i am getting a ticket ............. tinting windshield is absolutely illegal and it's crazy .......... i can see if you want like 60-70% on a windshield but 2.5% on windshield is like a ticket to many accidents :tdown: ............
yea cali has a whole bunch of s**** rules. My bro got pulled over for a whole bunch of stuff like exhaust, tint, lowered car. Those guys have nothing better to do.
hey that tint law thing is incorrect....bcuz the legal limit in MASS for an eyebrow is 8.5 inches and the back window like on a pickup can be as dark as u want...my friend has 0.025 and has never been harrassed be anyone
