I have a 99 camaro, and I just got my halos in that I ordered. The thing is the headlights dont really slide in as a perfect replacement like the old ones. I mean, i can get them in, but they out of a place about a inch or so. I can get them to stay in good, and look good, but it doesnt just slide in like the other ones. It's really frustrating, im not sure if its always like this or what.
Also, on a side note, whats the easiest way to get the wiring from the halos through my firewall to a toggle switch?
appreciate it

do you really want your halos on a toggle switch? i would just wire them right in with the fog lights. as far the light fitting, just mess with it and add some washers here and there. its not going to be 100% like your stock ones fit.. theyre aftermarket.
I noticed that too after installing mine a few weeks ago. The gap was driving me nuts at the bottom. Just work on adjusting the screws to push the lights out while getting the beams straight. I still have a small gap, but I'll live with it, cuz they look sweeeeeeeet. Hey Dave, can you do that photoshop for me??? ;)
I think everyone has a problem with their halos...I read somewhere to take the housings from the stock headlights and put it on the halos and tried that out. They went in perfectly and it didn't take me long at all. There's still a little gap in front of the headlights, but nothing major. Just my two cents.

Yea, i remember i had a hell of a time getting the damn things in there. But i did... theres a little bit of a gap on my passengers side light at the bottom, its not too noticible tho.

I havent said it in a long time, so here goes....halos on a camaro are the ugliest thing to ever hit the market, I only hope that one day some of you will see the light.....ugh...they don't fit right because your car is trying to take those ugly pos out of there and give it back the proper oem....they completly screw up the lines on the hood, dont you guys see that????

ok I wont halo bash for another 6 months or so.
LOL. I was just waiting for you to pipe in... :naughty:
Anyway, it's been said already, but use the stock brackets w/the new halos. They'll fit a LOT better. I had to do that to get mine in.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
