I bought my car with white face gauges and this silver overlay thing that i dont like. I dont mind the gauges but the overlay ive always wanted black...can someone please tell me how/ how hard it is to remove the dash? thanx
97 had same dash as 98+ right? dash is stupid simple to remove to access the cluster. lower the steering wheel, remove trim around colunm, :scratcheshead:, remove trim around cluster......there is something else, :scratcheshead:, figure it out. its too simple. like a one min thing
there are two bolts holding in the black piece that screw up into the dash. remove those and take out that piece then there are two more bolts holding in the cluster, take them off and pull straight out then manuever it to the side and pull it out. i have done this many times but not recenlty, so if i left something out.. i apologize. (there might be a bolt or two on the underside, cant recall)
