I have been looking for a manual driver's side mirror for months now, and I have to think that it will take some more time to get one. Well, I was looking at my mirror housing and all I pretty much need is the glass with the brace. I was wondering, if I buy a power driver's side mirror, could I just switch that with my mirror? I wouldnt necessarily want to have power mirrors but it'd be nice to have a mirror, so I just want to make sure it'll be a direct fit. Will it work?

Re: Will this work?
I think it would work. The worst case, if the mirror itself didn't want to hook up directly to the old mounting hardware, which i would assume it would, you could just put all the power stuff in the mirror, and just have to adjust it by pushing on it with the window rolled down.
