I've got the 96 taillights in my car and I have tried to do the wiring mod but I have failed.
Yesterday a member on here was parting his 93-96. I asked him to cut his taillight harness and send them to me. With thee harnesses, will the conversion be easy? All I have to do is splice in the old style harness right? Is there more too it than that?

"you can use the LT1 harness and bulbs. The LT1 lights are 4 wire instead of 5 wire. All you have to do to get it to work is splice the blue wire coming from the brake switch to terminal P of the 11 pin connector underneath the drivers side dash."
