Looking at putting stripes on the Z

Yeah yeah even though I got sold out and traded the 6, you guys have more money to dump into appearance. That is why im here.

My car is Pewter. I want stripes just like Kristen's but im sort of debating what to do about the berger panel. SHOULD I let the stripes run down the berger panel and use mirror or silver fill-ins

OR

Should I NOT put the stripes on the berger panel and use black fill-ins.

hmmmm.

I hope Kristen doesnt mind me using this pic, but to get a better idea of what im talking about, here you can see the stripes running down the berger panel thus requiring silver bumper fill-ins.



Here they have left the stripes off the berger panel and used matching fill-ins.



Thoughts?

i think it looks better with the stripes running over the berger...just my opinion though. i say do it like kristen's. what kind of wheels / exhaust tips / accents do you have?

I say get the black fillins. When I did my red rally stripes on my black camaro I put red fillins, I think it just lookes better but thats just me.

I think both look good, but I am leaning a little more towards the stripes stoping. It pulls the eyes to camaro (and away from the horribly hung exhaust) which I like.

i also have a pewter camaro and eventually want to stripe it, my idea was to stripe the panel and use pewter colored inserts where the stripes are and black inserts where there arent stripes. just an idea, not quite sure how it'd look but i think it might be cool

i was thinking ab that same idea...would be kinda unique and interesting to see. not sure if i'd like it or not, but i'm sure for someone...its worth a shot.

yeah but why would you get fill-ins the same color as the car?

Its already that color??

i like those stripes...i say go for it..... i got a set of 35th anniversarty ss stripes in silver if u want them... i was gonna put them on my car then decided on a dif hood which they would in no way shape or form work on.... id be willin to charge like 50 bux for them.... theya re the ones that go from stripes to the checkered flag... brand new in box... all parts of the car
