like the title suggests...lookin for a new shift knob. i remember a while back finding simple colored, ball-style knobs for autos that to engage you push down on the whole knob then shift. anyone know where these are now? can't seem to find the site again...

I think you're referring to the MBA (Mallory Billet Aluminum) auto shfit knobs from www.thunderracing.com
I used to have an A4 Firebird so I looked at them for a while, pretty nice. However they seem to have closed their business (MBA, I mean) and they are not making them anymore. Other than that, Ebay might be your best friend.
