Anyone know if the stock automatic shift knob can be shortened? The thing is a little tall for my likeing. Anyone have pictures of what it looks like without the console in the way?
I might attempt to shorten the stock piece and see how it goes....
well, it's basically the steel that you see, and then a plastic piece inside that that you have to much down to move the shifter that must stay longer than the steel...soooo, you'd either have to take it all apart or, I'd use a pipe cutter, the kind where you screw it tighter and spin it around (home depot, plumping dept) so you would'nt cut through the plastic and then slap a new shift knob on, and your good to go....good luck with it.
