Finally received my new billet grille and stock 69 camaro emblem. The emblem was blue stock so I wanted to color match it. Well I finally got done last night painting the emblem then attached it to the grille. I painted it with spray paint-4 coats paint/5 coats clear. Let me know what you think.
What'd you use to attach it to the grille? I ask cuz i've got an old bowtie i'm gonna restore and stick on my grille.
The one on my 02 I had to JB weld it to the grille. But on this one I was able to use the supplied hardware. I had to cut down the two post that stick out the back due to them hitting the body. You can see the two post in this pic.
I never thought of that, it's a good idea and it looks great! If i didn't have to have a front plate, I would probably do this..but those stupid laws keep me from it.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
