OLDER emblem from 1970s

Well i justfound out this morning someone stole the emblem off my car.
Now RIght now i am looking on ebay for a new one. and I found this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA:IT&ih=017 , and i wonder will it fit on the 4th gens. or should I just do a emblem delet and put one of these ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA:IT&ih=018 ) off set on the driver side of the hood right above the head light or below it? or should I just get one of these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA:IT&ih=011

Well thanks to someone on camaroz28.com he told me that the badges from a 1970 camaro wouldnt work. So i think i want to do a emblem delet and place this on the hood above the driver side head light but does any one here know if they are stuck on with glue or tape ? or does it require me to drill into the hood?

i dont think that'd work right above the headelight if your car is a 98+, sence the hoods arent flat at all in that area. if you have a 93-97 and it would work fine.

i like that emblem alot BTW.

What you've got to do is cut off the fastening pegs on the back (use a hacksaw or some sturdy wire snips) and sand them down. Then use 3M automotive molding tape (autozone should have it) in thin strips in teh grooves on the back and stick it to the car.

THanks for the information fireball27. I think i will do that when my new bumper arrives, since it was in a hit and run too on christmas eve. I plan on repainting the car after everything arrives (fenders and front bumper cover) into flat black. then put that emblem on the hood, and maybe paint the wheels green
