  • question about dent removal

i right above my gas tank door i have a nice little dent. it looks like a baseball hit it pretty hard. i bought it like that since it was extremely cheap. (guy didnt really need money.. he had like 5 other cars) but anyways, its a metal fender right? is that replaceable or is there a way to properly remove the dent?

i'll take pictures of it tomorrow so you know exactly what im talking about.

but in the meantime, any ideas?

    Re: question about dent removal

Take everything apart in the rear driver's side hatch so you can access the inner quarterpanel. Get a piece of wood (like a 6" piece of a 2x4) and a hammer, place the piece of wood on the under side of the dend and begin tapping it with the hammer. Do NOT strike it with force because you'll end up with alot more smaller dents. Just lightly tap it until you can get it pushed out.

Either that, or try the Ding King. It may be a bit safer that what I posted above, but it may also be one of those products that only work on TV too
