I'm considering painting my wheels... just for a new look

here's some lazy photoshoppin'...

the dark areas represent black or argent paint... the bare wheel area will most likely be polished or painted silver... then the whole thing will be clear coated...

I'm also considering painting them gold and putting huge offset spacers on... :banana:

Any pics of your car? Its unique, not sure what i think of it... i'd have to see a pic of your car... if anything i'd say go with the second one, but i think it would look better if you painted it all black and polished the lip.

i think pic 2 would look better if you didnt paint so much of the star...

paint the inside of the wheel, the sides of the stars and leave the silver lip and leave the top of the star silver

depending on the color of your car, i think if you painted the black part with a low gloss black satin paint, that would look sweeeett :tup:

my friend did almost the exact same thing with his eclipse and it looks really good.....well the wheels any ways all i will say is his body kit is spray painted:spank:

i think painted wagon wheels would look kinda dumb, hints why i dont want to paint mine like everyone said i should do, all the C6s look good black and polished though

what happened to your LED tail light setup you had going? Are you painting your berger currently or something?

I like wheel photoshop #2 definitely. Do that. Mystic teal plus partially black rims = sexy.

Where are you bumper cover, taillights, and rear panel? Hell, where's your car? LOL.

Around Christmas an old lady hit me... so my bumper is currently being fixed... repainted... and im getting the headlight wells (or whatever you wanna call them) painted black... instead of being bare bumper... my berger panel is being painted black... and im customizing my taillights... the cadillac L.E.D. taillight project is kinda on hold... my taillights will still be completely L.E.D. but not cadillac style... mostly due to funding... college is coming first this semester... :(


i'll probably pick back up with the cadillac taillights this summer... when i have a job and not have to pay for college...


i'll have pics pretty soon of the whole car (cause i haven't even made a thread for my car) and pics of the custom taillights... once everything is back together...


so seems like #2 won that one... they're kinda like a poor man's c5 wheels... :)
