Bird decal on the hood

You know how the older Firebirds had the big bird on the hood?

I was wondering if anyone has put one on a 4th gen, and how does it look. If not how do you think it would look? Thanks

Yep, the black car gets my vote. The only other sets I like are from the 1999 Anniversary and the 2002 Collector's Editions.

i had the newer style bird on the hood(kinda like the one on the tail piece), before i got the raptor hood. black in the center with silver wings, i'll have to dig up some pics and scan them in. i thought it looked good, i don't like the old style bird decal on the newer birds.

the black one does look sharp, same design in gold with red or grey outlines would look good, sort of a smokey and the bandit retro look

Most people don't make very good attempts at this. The May 2006 issue of High Performance Pontiac has a spread on a black 2000 WS6 convertible where this is done very well. IMO this is the only way I've seen it look good and man is it sweeeeet!!! I've never posted a link before so if it doesn't work then just go the site and type in "new bandit" it will be a little ways down the page.

Those actually look very similar or might actually be the Firebird GT decals from SLP. I believe you can still get some from Fbody Motorsports for pretty cheap.
