Re: Berger Panel on Hugger Orange w/ Black Stripes
I like the way it is in the pix. It is unique and has character, which sets you apart from the other rides. I say leave it gloss black and keep the rims.
Re: Berger Panel on Hugger Orange w/ Black Stripes
Hey Chris If you do wnat inserts for the letters go with a orange reflective color or just orange but the reflective inserts are cool. Brent Franker sells them and thats where I get my decals from. Give me a call or just get a hold of me on AIM if you want his link. Its like 14 bucks for the reflective one and 10 for the regular vinyl but his stuff is worth the money plsu free shipping, LOL.
Re: Berger Panel on Hugger Orange w/ Black Stripes
Yeah, I was checkin out his graphics a while back. He actually has Hugger Orange vinyl too, so I might go with those. I like the reflective would be sweet on the car at night, but he doesn't have Hugger Orange in reflective. Who knows. First thing is to get the panel repainted nice and glossy with no scratches, no reason to leave it on the car with scratches all under the paint. I already took it back down to the fiberglass, and primed it, so we'll see. I'll update with pics when it's done.
Re: Berger Panel on Hugger Orange w/ Black Stripes
Talk to Brent but i think his reflective orange is pretty close to hugger orange. Well man let me know how it turns out. I will have my bumper on witht eh CETA mod next month when I repaint the car.
Re: Berger Panel on Hugger Orange w/ Black Stripes
Kinda what I was thinking. I just dunno what I'm gonna do. I shouldn't have sanded the thing. I was smooth enough. Now that I've sanded it, the paint doesn't want to stick in a few spots. I'll get it, it's just more work that I didn't want to do, lol.
Re: Berger Panel on Hugger Orange w/ Black Stripes
Chrome would look good . I know of a guy who makes stainless steel inserts for our cars and he has made the Camaro inlay for the rear bumper and also a insert for the camaro symbol on the front bumper to wher you take the stock one off and put a custom one on. Ill see if I can find you a link. I know he has an ebay store and lives near Ashland Ky. Let me knwo brah.
Re: Berger Panel on Hugger Orange w/ Black Stripes
Definately CHROME. That's what I was going to suggest too. The only thing is... there isn't any other chrome trim on the car to match. BTW, the car looks GREAT!! :)
Re: Berger Panel on Hugger Orange w/ Black Stripes
OMG! I love Hugger Orange. You've got one of the best looking cars ever right there, just because it's orange. As for the berger panel, I think it looks good. I think it would look abit better if your stripes didn't end 1" above the panel though, I'd rather see them run into the panel, but just my $.02. As for inserts, I'd go with some reflective orange. I like reflective inserts, that way at night the person behind you (that'll be everybody) knows what you're driving :P

I started thinking more and more that the chrome might look really good. I've got the "chrome" vinyl inlays on the black grill up front, so it might look allright. Thanks for the compliment. :)

Guys/girls, I'm blown away here. Thanks for all the compliments. I appreciate them, and all the input. And I've gotta agree with RadRacer, Hugger Orange Rocks!!!!
So my truck is finally getting some work done, after 17 years, Oil pressure sensor went out and it’s located under the lower intake manifold. Have to...
