Ok, this may be a silly question. I dont have a body kit and alot of times when I am going uphill or even down, I lightly hit my bumper on the ground... so how do people with these kits avoid not hitting them alot?

But. theres a member from the board that replaced his springs with z28 springs, makes the car sit a lil' higher & of course, avoid them when possible or go at a sideways angle when going up the hill.

the springs you have on your car may be getting old and weak and just need to be replaced.

Chances are what you're actually hitting is the air dam under the car. Just be more careful where you drive and try and avoid big dips in the road, and when you've got no choice take them at an angle.

yeah i hit the air damn every day... i just try to hit the speed bumps and dips in parking lots at 45 degree turns/angles.

Yeah I slam my catalytic converter on speed bumps. My sound system weighs down my car, and my suspension has 186,000 miles on it. Not much you can do about the front air damn except take hills/dips at angles.

normally if i hit anything, its the airdam or my resonator. the previous owner obviously scraped the front gfx a few times though :/

at my old HS...someone had the bright idea to make the speed bumps like 3ft tall...jk but they were really steep and quite tall speed bumps so I didn't take any chances

LoL I know the kind of speed bumps you are talking about, but I was laughing because you said you feel like a ricer when you go over them at an angle LoL.......Driving carefully to protect your car dosent make you a ricer LoL.
