  • 98+ Front End Swap.

I got in a little low speed head on collision in a parking lot last year. Insurance gave me money for lights, bumper, 1 fender, and hood. So basically I brought it to my friends body shop and he took care of everything, including paying for my other fender out of his own pocket. He kept telling me I needed a 98+ core support, but it looks like he made the old one work. Headlights needed to be re-wired somehow for more juice. I could even extend the intake piping so the filter would be right behind the fog light hole for free ram air. Took over a week at his shop, sounded like a huge pain in the ***. But damn it looks sweet...

cool. it just looks weird seeing a 3.4 under the hood of that front end. :)

        Re: 98+ Front End Swap.

Heres a pic I jacked from ebay. Their is just a cone filter on the end and it sits right behind the fog light hole. I would do it but I want my filter more than 6 inches off the ground...

I see... I guess I was just confused about how it would get to the hole, but I guess with how the swap was done it would work

should have gone with halos and clear corners while you were buying new lights anyway.. Looks good though, wierd to see a 3.4 though like loochy said.

DARN YOU! And here I am trying to convince Loochy to swap his '99 Z28 to the '93-'97 style front end. You know, the one that's not ugly.

                :slap: was that out loud?
